The Right to a Decent Job: According to the media and political elite employment prospects for both young workers and university graduates are improving. Year on year there are more young people in work than before, they claim. What their deceiving statistics do not show is that the number of real jobs – that is well paying jobs offering a future – are in a downward spiral and being replaced by unskilled, low paid, often part-time, “McJobs”. Most young people entering the job market from school or college are faced with the choice of a non-job offering a non-future or long term bouts of unemployment. To make matters worse Dorset in general and towns like Bournemouth and Poole in particular, are magnets to foreign workers seeking employment. The media know this, as do the corrupt political establishment, yet not one of them is prepared to stand up for the right to work for Dorset’s young people – no one of any credibility that is – except for the Brit Dems.
The Right to Decent Housing: It is no secret that the growth in housing demand fueled directly or indirectly by immigration exceeds by a wide margin the provision of new housing – meaning the county’s young people are increasingly competing with new arrivals for affordable homes. As most young workers are on relatively low pay the inevitable result of this competition are a shortage of social housing, a shortage of affordable rental properties and a shortage of affordable homes for sale. Only the Brit Dems are prepared to publicise the link between immigration and housing, only the Brit Dems will address the issue.
The Right to a Cohesive Community: Most people reading this newsletter will be unaware that the “White British” (to use the official government term) are a minority in Greater London, Birmingham, Leicester and Slough and are on course to becoming a minority in England by around 2060. Immigration is demonstrably eroding our communities and, in some cases, all but replacing them. Dorset people in general and its young in particular, don’t want their communities diluted out of all recognition by mass immigration – they
want a recognisably British future in their own country and communities – something only the Brit Dems will deliver.
Whereas one can understand and can’t blame the immigrants who come to our county in search of work and housing Brit Dems, none-the-less, believe it unfair that our young people should suffer as a consequence.

I believe this is the text of a BDP leaflet going out in Dorset targeting school leavers and young unemployed.
We need to do a lot more to attract younger members, they will be tomorrows activists. As the article says its the young, whether they realise it or not, that are most effected by colonisation.
It would be nice if more was done to help those over 24 who are unemployed and are denied training opportunities on the grounds of age – there is no funding available to train those over 24. This conigns many people to the scapheap while they are in their twenties. More than half of those unemployed are over 24 yet there is no help available for them, and the so-called “Work Programme” is a waste of time and money.
