Immigration and the Destruction of Britain

A new report by think tank Migrationwatch UK has revealed that between 2001 and 2008, immigration was responsible for almost 40 per cent of the growth in the number of households in Britain.

The report also revealed that migration is projected by the Government to increase the numbers of households in the UK by over 2 million in the twenty-five year period from 2008 to 2033, that is about 36% of the projected increase.

On present official projections we will need to build over 200 houses every day over the next 25 years to house the extra population arising from immigration,” the report continued.

“Even if house building were to increase by 25 per cent over current levels (to about 200,000 a year), over the next 25 years, there will be a shortage of around 800,000 homes by 2033 – equivalent to the combined current number of homes in Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle and Nottingham, or equivalent to a quarter of all the homes in Greater London.

“Allowing for second home ownership, empty dwellings, regional shortfalls and other factors, the overall shortfall in the supply of homes could be

over one million,” Migrationwatch UK said in a press release.

Commenting, Sir Andrew Green, Chairman of Migrationwatch UK, said:

“As we saw earlier, political correctness has dictated that the construction and planning industry should not refer to the massive impact of immigration on housing.

“It is not, of course, the only factor in household formation but it is a major factor accounting for 36% of new households over the next 25 years.

“It is also one of the few factors that the government ought to be able to control. It is high time that we faced up to the huge impact of immigration on housing and to the severe consequences for our environment of continued mass immigration,” Sir Andrew said.

  1. Two days ago they were talking about building on greenbelt areas in the mainsteam papers.

Can someone give me a good answer to tell people who say that an increasing population is necessary to sustain economic growth?

I am environmentally minded and would be willing to lower my standard of living to protect the environment. However, most people want the economy to grow no one wants to be out of work.

How can I convince people that our policies will be sound economically?

  2. I live in a village that has had 350 houses built opposite us in the last four years. I find out last weekend another 500 houses are to be built in my village.
My village had one ethnic fifteen years ago. Today floods of Indians (IT workers) come out of the smaller estate. I know that the same will happen in the new estate.
One ethnic to hundreds in four or so years, the maths are clear to see.
Strangely they don’t join in community events, just here for the money I guess!

  3. How is it that Sir Andrew Green can get away with saying these things and yet when we in the BNP mention these same facts we are immediately called fascists, racists, Nazis, etc. etc.? We are not even allowed to share a platform or debate with the liberal establishment politicians for whom the mere mention of immigration being a problem is considered a modern day heresy. Yet Sir Andrew is saying the same kind of things that we are and is respected and listened to. Is he perhaps little more than an establishment media safety valve? Is he allowed a voice simply so that these concerns can be aired, and then ignored conveniently? Whatever the reason he is allowed a voice, many more of the indigenous people of Britain need to grow a backbone and start demanding the preservation of their land and culture before it’s too late.

  4. Since the above article and Geoff Crompton’s excellent Question, we have formed the British Democratic Party. We shall have sensible spokesmen and women on each major subject, not one person ‘ shooting from the hip ‘ in an amateur manner ! We shall have well thought out policies based on decent Nationalist values and not some sort of confused class war ! We already have a proper Democratic constitution and a superb first general policy document. The founding Steering Committee are determined to avoid the mistakes of the past old party and are truly worthy of the support of determined Nationalist’s. Don’t ‘ SIT ON THE FENCE’ ! Join the British Democratic Party TODAY.
