Reminder AGM Saturday 19th November
Our Annual Meeting is a great chance to meet fellow members and activists and to help formulate forward plans. Entry is free for members and bulletins were sent out weeks ago with the relevant information and a list of motions for debate (constitutional, marketing and policy). Make your voice heard! The venue will include a buffet and drink can be purchased. The afternoon meeting will include speeches and reports from the Chairman, Treasurer, Nominating Officer and others.

John Shaw ( Party Official ) With very poor health , I am unable to travel to and attend , our A.G.M. but urge all who can to attend and enjoy the proceedings . Unlike some Party’s that I will not mention , we do not charge MEMBERS TO GO TO THEIR OWN A.G.M ! As all future motions should be about our OFFICIAL POLICY on all subjects , I hope we submit and ADOPT the following motion. ; That the Party regularly submit suggestions for lines of OFFICIAL PARTY POLICY , on every subject under the sun , to the MEMBERS TO VOTE ON BY POST. Once adopted these can be gathered together to form our MANIFESTO , which together with our WONDERFUL POLICY DOCUMENT , then outlines to the Public our reason for being and indeed OUR SREIOUS INTENT. I am sure that GENUINE , KEEN , INTERESTED MEMBERS would be thrilled to post their vote on a range of policies , throughout the year. The website could publish the ADOPTION of each , as they happen , creating INTEREST , ACTIVITY AND INDEED A SHINING EXAMPLE OF DEMOCRACY , FROM THE BRITISH DEMOCRATIC PARTY !
John Shaw ( Party Official ) On the subject of by-elections and indeed General Elections , I am very proud to remember paying for two separate Candidates deposits , in full , for the National Front in the seventies ! I always contributed to everything , including the PATRIOTS DEFENSE FUND , which we could consider in the near future. As for those elections , we were undone by establishment tactics , mentioned elsewhere on our site by Baz4545 and myself ! One thing actually standing did achieve , apart from people knowing we existed , was a large INFLUX OF NEW MEMBERS !
So what happened? How did it go?
AGM went ahead as planned; We will not be publishing the AGM discussions / agreements on the web site, however, a members newsletter will be circulated shortly with a report of the AGM included.
