By A.N. Observer. I am truly perplexed that so many of my friends are against another mosque being built in West London. I think it should be the goal of every British person to be tolerant. Thus the Mosque should be allowed, in an effort to promote tolerance.
That is why I also propose that two nightclubs be opened next door to the mosque, thereby promoting tolerance from within the mosque.
We could call one of the clubs, which would be gay, “The Turban Cowboy,” and the other a topless bar called “You Mecca Me Hot.”
Next door should be a butcher shop that specializes in pork, and adjacent to that an open-pit barbeque pork restaurant, called “Iraq o’ Ribs.”
Across the street there could be a lingerie store called “Victoria Keeps Nothing Secret” with sexy mannequins in the window modelling the goods.
Next door to the lingerie shop there would be room for an adult sex toy shop, “Koranal Knowledge ,” its name in flashing neon lights, and on the other side a liquor store called “Morehammered.”
All of this would encourage the Muslims to demonstrate the tolerance they demand of us, so the mosque problem would be solved.
And then, we should be allowed to export our tolerance to Muslim nations, such as Saudi Arabia. I mean, really, do they think it is tolerant not to allow women to drive?
We urgently need to show them the true meaning of tolerance and justice, in the same way that they are showing it to us here.

BRILLIANT! A superb piece of highly appropriate and relevant satire. Shame the Python team are doing other things now, otherwise we could have “Monty Python’s Life of Mohammed”. It would certainly make a killing at the box office.
What Briton need is discrimination. Only a brainwashed, Marxist idiot fails to see that there is a difference between immigrating a Japanese nuclear scientists and a million AIDS infested, low IQ Africans half of whom are probably rapists and murderers. And don’t even mention Muslims. If we agree paedophilia is unlawful then it follows that organisations and ideologies that promote paedophilia are also unlawful. As an ideology that promotes paedophilia Islam is therefore unlawful in the UK.

The article is of course with tongue in cheek but it makes an important observation. The conflict and hypocrisy inherent in left wing/ Marxist dogma is ripe for exploitation by a group which is able to position itself in such a way that it is able to highlight these contradictions.

The desire of the left to promote homosexuality and women’s rights together with mass immigration from Muslim countries and multi culti are perhaps the most apparent contradictions.

So far, the English Defence League’s Stephen Lennon has exploited and highlighted these contradictions better than the BNP was ever able to.

The BNP never will be able to exploit these contradictions and fault lines which run through the left because it has chosen to position itself in opposition to all and every group which the left has claimed to serve. For me this is perhaps the biggest weakness of the BNP.

It’s all very well and good having a laugh, but ultimately this article is equating our culture with homosexual bars, topless clubs and sex shops. There is nothing traditional, European or British about those things. That is not our culture. There seems to be a growing trend, even within ‘Nationalist’ circles, to tolerate liberalism and degeneracy simply because the Muslims don’t like it, madness. When you look at some of the decadence in our European cities today, and the lack of traditional culture and values, is it any wonder that more and more Europeans are converting to Islam for moral guidance?! I’d rather spend an hour in a Mosque and actually learn something about their religion than in some sex shop or homosexual bar.
OK, Chris. There could be a church next door, a research library on anthropology and history next door the other side, a branch of the RSPCA opposite, and a medical services centre not offering female mutilation. And a law firm specialising in prosecuting child abusers. The marriage registrar might be there; and perhaps an Army recruiting centre too – but I admit to having doubts about these places myself.
I forgot to mention the working man’s club, for some reason.
How much ‘tolerance’ can we tolerate? Tolerance, after all, traditionally is, or was, a British virtue. It was what made us great as a nation. Nowadays it seems we have forgotten this national characteristic and have to import Third World immigrants to teach us the traditional British quality of ‘tolerance’. But don’t worry about what may seem to be an unstoppable flood of immigrants: we are after all, all ‘British’ now; even if some of us are more ‘British’ than others.

I think the brilliant point being made here is the this selective “tolerance” has lead to decline and destruction all round. Surely traditional British tolerance was never intended to lead to its own end.
