Basescu Spills the Beans

By Clive Wakley. Recent disclosures by a European Union head of state confirms all we have long suspected about the real purpose of the EU and the price that will have to be paid to achieve it.

Romania’s president, Traian Basescu, has gone on record as openly stating that he is in favour of the creation of a “United States of Europe” (USE).

No doubt his candid comments will have upset the covert globalist “Hidden Hand” working hard behind the “democratic” façade of the EU on the creation of the European superstate – an essential stepping-stone on the path towards world government.

Furthermore and importantly, Basescu warned that Europe would only be able to remain an economic and military power through individual states ceding their national sovereignty.

This will not be news as far as Euro-sceptics are concerned, but coming from a head of state of an EU nation it does provide confirmation, if confirmation were needed, as to the overall “game plan”.

Just as interesting; it has also been confirmed by Basescu that the concept of establishing the USE has already been discussed; that is a USE as a sovereign entity, rather than as a federation of trading nations.

Conscious of anti-EU sentiment Basescu is further quoted as saying that he was not sure that today’s politicians could convince the people that a USE would not affect their culture or traditions; a point that concedes what we already know, that the peoples of Europe, by and large, are keen to retain their various national identities.

The Romanian head of state also asserted that the EU’s future as a political structure was uncertain unless what he described as “proper decisions” regarding its functioning were taken.

Quite what Basescu, representing a state with a significant recent history of dictatorship, meant by “proper decisions” remains unclear.

Romania’s president is also reported as claiming that it would be hard to say how quickly the USE could be established, but added the worrying point that “national governments have proved they can be ‘vanquished’ by markets and the will of investors.”

Perhaps he was referring to recent events not a million miles from his own country, where a sovereign state (Greece) has been brought to its knees by globalist institutions (such as banks) demonstrating that when you control a nation’s finances you control its destiny.

That globalist formulated “rescue packages” aren’t designed merely to asset-strip prostrate nations but perhaps more importantly, to frustrate the national aspirations of defrauded peoples, may be taken as read.

Who are the Greeks, for instance, to resist submergence within a USE when the Hidden Hand behind a USE owns them lock, stock and pawned barrel?

Indeed, what does this tell us about the real cause and objectives of the global banking crisis?

If this is what Basescu meant by his somewhat cryptic comment then it is a timely, if not unintentional, warning.

So who is Traian Basescu?

He is a “former communist” apparatchik and mayor of Bucharest.

He was elected as the president of Romania for a second term in 2009 amongst allegations of electoral fraud (later dismissed by the courts).

Previously in 2007, during his first presidential term, he became the only president in Romanian history to be suspended from office.

He has also been accused of being previously linked with the hated security service of former Romanian communist dictator Nicolae Ceausescu.

Consequently, Basescu is a “democratic” politician whom, on past form and associations, is likely to rise high in the upper echelons of the EU/USE.
